Camping Italy

When most people look at European camping destinations, Italy is often left out of the list. But there are several reasons why this is so, one of the main reasons is the lack of knowledge about some of the places in Italy that are unknown to the rest of the world, but there are certainly a lot of places in Italy that are good for camping and Italy sure has to be higher in the list of places that is considered preferred locations for camping.

There are several campsites in Italy that offer the camper the option, steadfastness and comfort that is un-parallel in relation to any other part of the world. There are several different kinds of activities that are available here that are mostly unheard of in the rest of Europe. There are spacious tents and mobile homes that are available for rent with several different kinds of facilities like cooking place etc. there are also several choices in the kind of location that you choose for camping. You can enjoy the serenity of a lake in the banks of the lake Garda, or perhaps decide to camp at a more urban locale, camping can be fun even at a place that is so close to the ancient Rome such as Venice or Milan.

You can try the campsites of the Marina di Venezia which is probably the most favorite of all for the campers who visit Italy. This place is close to the lagoon of Venice itself, it is one of the oddest places to camp and gives you an experience that never be got anywhere else in the world. Some of the other campsites are also very well equipped with swimming pools and out door activities.

Italy has a wonderful weather; the weather in southern Italy is akin to the one that can be found in any of the Mediterranean countries. The summers are hotter than many other European countries and the winters can be really cold especially in the northern parts of the country. The Alps is also an attraction for many campers as many adventure sport and camping locations have come up in the recent years.

There are a lot of things that you can do while camping in Italy, you can partake the excellent serene scenery of the Italian countryside, you can go on photo trails and also visit historical places if you stay close to Venice or Rome. There is no dearth of adventure tourism and you can participate in many outdoor activities.
So if you have still not considered the Italy as a camping destination, then it is time that you do so now, because there is no other place on earth that can give you such quality and consistency in a camping holiday.
