Moore Creek Campground 09/03/07

September 3rd, 2007 · No Comments

Well the start of another great weekend. There are way too many people but I am hoping it will be fun. I am at Moore Creek again. The water is still dropping. I am not sure how many pictures I will take this weekend. I pan fried some marinated Ahi tuna last night. It was pretty tasty. Tonight is either going to be salmon or carne asada. I will try to take some pictures. The bugs are terrible. It isn't that they are biting but hovering in front of my face so when I take a breath I suck up a few if I forget to fan my face.

It rained on Friday for awhile and it was pretty nice. Saturday got pretty hot so I took a dip in the river. I pulled out my old tent and it still works pretty well for its size. For those that have been following my blog awhile this is the tent that I started using in the beginning.

It was like a refugee city up there on Saturday. There was tents everywhere and not just from our group. A lot of them took off on Sunday and it was nice on Sunday night.

Saturday night was pork tacos which were very tasty. I had salmon steaks on Sunday morning and a delicious dinner on Sunday night. It was a stew with beef, chicken, and pork. It also had beer, veggies, and spices in it. I ended up bring the carne asada home. I need to try and take more pictures of the food.

In the next few weeks I am going to be planning more trips around my soon to be new home in the Paradise area. Towards the end of the month I will be doing a ghost town trip. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Thanks again for stopping by.
