Very Bad Experience

TL:DR The worst experience I have ever had the owner’s pit bull and the neighbor’s pit bull attacked my dogs multiple times. The female owner was two-faced and rude, the male owner was racist and homophobic. The handyman has a drug addict-thieving girlfriend that he and the female owner falsely accused me of sleeping with even though I’m gay. The female owner said the girlfriend was “86’d” and not to be back on the property and had to check my RV to make sure she wasn’t in there, then two days later let her back in the handyman’s tent after telling us that “she would take care of it.” Never did anything to solve the problem other than trying to force the handyman to give us a fake apology. He then proceeded to talk more trash after we didn’t accept it because he would have never said anything had she not forced it and pretended that would fix everything. Extended Review: Where to start? It seemed like it was going to be a good place and good time and started that way. After the owner’s pit bull attacked me and my dogs and I needed to go to the hospital to get antibiotics everything changed, and they started treating us horribly. Like it was my fault their dog, they told us was aggressive towards males, attacked us... My dogs were attacked two times, almost three. The first time the owner’s dog was off its leash and the dog came rushing to my father’s car trying to rip my dogs’ necks out while they had their heads out the windows. Their pit bull almost got my dad’s face while trying to attack my dogs! The second time, the neighbor’s pit bull attacked my dogs while my dad was holding them on their leashes, while the owner stood by and did nothing to help or prevent the attack. The third time was when the owner’s pit bull broke its chain and attacked me and my dogs in the neighbor’s front yard while I was walking them. This incident caused me to go to the hospital and get antibiotics. My hand still has problems to this day. The female owner then kept trying to infer that my dogs were violent and aggressive, even though the male owner had informed us his pit bull was aggressive towards male dogs at the beginning of our stay and assured us he would be kept on a chain. My dogs go to the dog park every day and have never attacked anything. It upset me that she kept trying to infer that my dogs were aggressive. She did it multiple times to the point I felt personally attacked. The male owner then kept trying to infer that I was a “P-word” even though I had to reach into his pit bull’s mouth to remove it from my dog and suffered multiple lacerations to my hands. He also never offered to pay for the damage and said, “Good luck suing, I don’t have insurance.” I guess it’s a good thing he kept telling us that he married for money! He also said he would have to shoot me if I did anything, which makes me wonder who the bigger “P-word” really is? If it would have been my dad walking them, he would have been severely injured or killed, so if you are older, I would think twice about coming here. We paid extra to have electricity and they would mess with it every time a new camper came into the park, the electricity also surged every time someone ran something. There is only one bathroom, and they often have 30-50 people in their backyard at a given time. There is rarely any hot water, and if you do get hot water, it lasts 5-8 minutes. I was accosted by one of the other campers when I came out of the bathroom after a shower. “About ‘f’ing time!” It’s not my fault they only have one bathroom, and I have the right to take care of my hygiene. This same guest spent his time cussing and screaming at the children at his campsite and left his dogs unattended in his tent. The handyman has a drug addict thieving girlfriend, that he and the female owner accused me of sleeping with even though I’m gay and my father and I don’t talk to anyone on the campground. He was also recording my RV, and my father and I peeing, because lack of bathrooms, so if you expect privacy or have children or a girlfriend, I would think again before coming here as you may be recorded by him at any given moment. Or if he gets drunk and decides you are sleeping with his girlfriend he may get in your face and start screaming at you even though he’s the wrong one. Speaking of which, he tried to get in my elder disabled father’s face like he was going to attack him even though he’s less than half his age!! Even after telling them the truth, they still inferred that we were lying, and the female owner had to check our RV because the handyman’s girlfriend was supposedly “86’d” which we found to be another lie just a couple of days later! A couple of days after being falsely accused and almost attacked, the girlfriend that was supposed to not be on the property came back. I told the female owner and she said: “she would take care of it.” She forced the handyman to give us a fake apology and let the female stay anyway, even after all the crap they put us through! She thought giving a fake apology was going to “take care of it.” Even after I told her we didn’t feel safe, she said “what do you mean you don’t feel safe?” after standing right there as the handyman got into my elder disabled father’s face like he was going to attack him! What would I have to feel safe about? My father also asked for a refund if the handyman’s girlfriend would be staying so we could go somewhere else. The handyman goes “yeah, that’s a good idea!” No, a good idea would have been you not coming to run your mouth and accuse us of something that never happened. They never offered us a refund. They also wouldn’t let us pay daily because they needed our money and I quote the female owner, “to pay our mortgage.” There are no quiet hours, so you will hear the handyman running chainsaws and riding his lawn mower at all hours of the night. It was 1:00 AM while he was chopping wood right next to our campsite, even after we told the owner we didn’t feel safe with him around! He also leaves an annoying blue light on at all hours, so be prepared for that as well. They stack guests so close you have no privacy on top of the being recorded, so not sure how you’re supposed to use the bathroom when there is only one available for use! The male owner is also supposedly a standing member of the KKK and wears his KKK shirt and showed off his KKK coin even though he has a black son. So, racists and non-racists take that however you want. He also told me that he hates gays the same night he kept inferring I was a “P-word” and saying he’d have to shoot me if I did anything. Hipcamp supposedly has a zero-tolerance policy against this, so we’ll see how it all goes from here. If you like being harassed and falsely accused of things you didn’t do while being lied to by the owners, this is the perfect spot for you. What a wonderful place to camp! You’re effectively paying to stay in someone’s backyard, if your family has land, you’re better off going there instead. As a disabled veteran that went to Iraq to fight for these people’s freedom, it makes me ashamed for my father, who is also a disabled veteran, and I to be treated this way. 0/10, would not recommend it to my enemies.
