We are a handful of THOWs (Tiny Houses on Wheels) living legally on the banks surrounding Lake Okeechobee in south central Florida. This small, family-owned RV park has a growing number of Tiny Houses as each RV moves on. We enjoy a casual lifestyle, fishing & wildlife watching as we are all full-timers here. Grassy spots, both standard or waterfront. Rates as of Summer 2021: Waterfront $375, Standard $350 per month, electricity is billed directly by utility. Resident tiny houses must be self-contained or standard RV hookups. We have no common amenities except we have 2 quaint gazebos on the waterfront as well as eight small boat slips to use for docking up a small john boat or to fish from. There's a nature walk atop the levy surrounding Lake Okeechobee. We have a small gardening area but we need some green thumbs! Best pricing in the area. Casual, basic and clean. City of Okeechobee is 6 miles with all sorts of shopping. Convenience stores & Dollar stores within 1 mile.
