About Marina State Beach
A promenade along the Marina Dunes of the nature reserve and the beach area, which includes a sheltered beach, sand dunes and a sand bar, as well as an access road to the beach.
The beach is known for hang gliding, but radio controlled gliders and kites are also popular, as are a variety of other activities such as kayaking, canoeing, kayaking and rafting.
The beach is a popular picnic spot, but water extraction is extremely dangerous due to the strong current and not ideal for kayaking or rafting.
