About Beaver Creek Valley State Park

Beaver Creek Valley State Park is located in the Blufflands in southeastern Minnesota and is known for its large spring that flows into Beaver Creek, one of Minnesota's most popular trout streams. Brown trout and brown trout live in this stream, as do many other trout species such as whitefish, salmon and blue fish.

In spring, the wildflowers that cover the wooded hills and valleys attract birds that nest in the park, as well as deer, elk, coyotes and other wildlife.
