About Greenleaf Lake State Park

Greenleaf State Park is one of the most popular hiking and camping destinations in upstate New York, with over 1,000 miles of hiking trails and more than 2,500 acres of open space.

Built in the 1930s by the CCC, WPA and German POWs, the local stone building is one of the oldest buildings in Greenleaf State Park, the original stone building of which is still in use today.

The cabin is 350 square meters in size and there are two other cabins in the park, each with its own bathroom and kitchen, and a picnic area. The park also has a hut, which See - See, a handicapped-accessible hut that meets the challenges of the physically handicapped.

Guests can also enjoy a picnic area with picnic tables, picnic benches and a large picnic table.

The park also has naturalists who offer a variety of activities, such as hiking, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, camping, hiking and much more.

Children under 16 can catch rainbow trout, which can be caught free of charge and without a permit. The children's pond is stocked with rainbows and trout for winter visitors, and at Greenleaf Lake, jet skiing and wave skiing are permitted.

The park also offers boat trips on Lake Greenleaf, and the lake is equipped with trout for winter.

Drive 12 miles down Highway 100 to the main entrance of the park at the intersection of Highway 50 and Highway 101.
