Yellow Bay is located on the west side of Flathad Lake State Park, in the southern part of the State Park. Cherry blossoms bloom on the slopes this spring, as do a variety of wild flowers such as sequoias, pines, pineapples and pears.

In summer, cherries can be bought at street stalls and fruit orchards, as well as at farmers "markets and grocery stores in the park.

The park includes a number of attractions such as hiking, cycling, fishing, camping and hiking, as well as a variety of other activities. Attractions include a water park, picnic areas, a picnic area, an amphitheater and a children's playground.
