Nebraska's newest state park stretches along the Missouri River in Smith Falls State Park, Nebraska.

The park protects the biological landscape and importance of this place and allows the public to see the highest waterfall in the state. This area is primarily used as a recreational area for residents and visitors, as well as for recreational purposes. But the river on the south side, where the waterfall is located, is preserved in a natural state and the park allows a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, hiking and fishing.

Hiking is restricted to certain routes to prevent erosion and protect rare plants. On the north side of the river you can camp, fish, canoe, kayak, hike and do other recreational activities. Although there is no access for vehicles or tents, a pedestrian bridge over the Niobrara River connects the falls with the south side and the park on the west side.

Smith Falls State Park offers primitive camping, which can be booked up to a year in advance. Smith Falls campsites are between 1,000 and 2,500 square meters in size and can accommodate up to 3,200 people per night.

RV parks are available on the north side of the river, and at the southern end of Smith Falls State Park, a 1,000 square foot RV park is available that can accommodate up to 3,200 people.
