About Tuscarora State Park

The picturesque picnic area is ideal for day trips and family celebrations, and the lake is a popular fishing spot. Visitors are welcome to learn more about the history and natural beauty of Tuscarora State Park. The locust mountain falls directly on the south side of Lake Tuscarsora and seems to look both from the lake and from the land used for daily use.

The beach has marked bathing areas and buoys, and lifeguards are in use, but swimming is not allowed. Unless otherwise stated, swimming and boating are only allowed on weekends in the summer months from 11 am to 11 pm and from 12 pm to 5 pm.

Rowing boats, canoes and pedal boats are available at the park's boat rental and concessions. All motor boats must be registered by the state and all non-motorized boats must have one of the following boat registrations from each state.

The fishery on Lake Tuscarora consists mainly of trout, whitefish, perch, blue fish and other small fish. Ice fishing is not allowed on the lake, although trout are the primary fish caught on the lake.

Make sure the ice is at least four centimetres thick and wear safety equipment, but do not check for its safety and make sure it is covered or sprinkled with ice.

Clog-gloved runners, also called marmots, are forbidden, but common wild animals are deer, elk, elk, pheasant, wolf, coyote, bear and wolf. There is no open hunting or catching and no dog training on designated hunting grounds, except in designated seasons.

With firearms, extreme caution is always required and special regulations apply that allow hunting with bow and arrow and hunting with the flintlock muzzle loader. Special regulations, which only allow hunting with bow and arrow in the national park, fishing and boating, apply in several places around the Robiniensee, but not on the lake itself.

Firearms and bow gear may only be rolled out and stored in a safe place in approved hunting grounds. Except for park staff and members of the public and other park staff, no other visitors are allowed to use the park during the hunting season.

This old dirt road leads to many habitats, including an old - growing forest with a large number of wild flowers and a variety of wildlife. The path is wide, has no flames and leads through a forest of trees, shrubs, grasses and grassland, as well as a small stream and stream bed.

The path ends on the southern shore of Lake Tuscarora and offers a picturesque view of the lake, a small stream and a creek bed and a forest of trees.

This short, steep path runs parallel to the power lines and offers a picturesque view of Lake Tuscarora, a small creek bed and a forest of trees. This long, narrow path on the north side of the lake runs parallel to it and offers several views, including a beautiful view from the beach.

This grassy road reaches the tree trunk path and the side path and is used to cut down trees that have died due to severe damage caused by the moths. Park staff and concessionaires sometimes drive down this dirt road, which is normally open to the public.

The old fire brigade entrance leads from the Krähenweg via the Krähenweg to the summit of the Heuschreckenberg. This short loop offers good views of Tuscaloosa State Park and its surrounding area, as well as scenic views from a vantage point.

Tuscarora and Locust Lake Parks offer a variety of environmental education and interpretation programs. In addition to the guided walks, participants can also gain an understanding of the park's natural resources in a series of educational workshops. The slight slope had a significant impact on the water quality of the lake and on the health of its water supply.

Curriculum for environmental education programs is available for schools and youth groups.

Environmental education specialists are responsible for developing curricula and learning on the ground and offer a wide range of educational programs for children and adults in Tuscany.

Programs are offered from March to November, but groups and programs must be arranged in advance and can be arranged by phone or at the park office. For more information, please contact the Park Office for more details and a list of programs for children and adults.
