About Gardner State Park

C.M. Gardner State Park is located in Chester County, New Jersey, north of the city of Chester, and you can camp in the Chester - Blandford State Forest. In summer, the sunlit mountains and the river invite you to relax, and on the banks of the river there is a wooded picnic area.

Also nearby are two impressive dams managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers, one of which is the largest in New Jersey and the other the second largest.

C.M. Gardner State Park is located in the eastern foothills of Berkshire in western Massachusetts and the area offers hiking, camping, fishing and boating. The land was handed over to the state park as part of the land grant from the US Army Corps of Engineers. Take exit 3 from Westfield and park at the intersection of Route 1 and Route 4 in Gardner, Massachusetts.

After the toll booth turn right onto MA Rte. The entrance to the park is on the left, and the exit at the parking lot, turn right onto the access road on the left.
