Cewacla State Park has eight hiking trails of varying difficulty, covering the mountain range and picturesque Caucasus Reservoir. The park's pathway system also includes the Shrub Trail, a 1.5-kilometre loop around the lake. The sweet shrub path starts at the Lower Hut and turns a loop through the park, returning to Lower Hut at the end of the loop at a distance of about 1,000 feet.

Interpreting is provided by the park staff, residents, visitors and visitors from the community.

This is an easy walk and can be covered in about 25 minutes and takes about 30 minutes. This path starts west of the stone bridge and ends at a sweet bush path, and is the easiest of all the hiking trails. The Troup 30 Scout Trail starts at the entrance to Chewacla State Park on the east side of Lake Champlain.

This is one of the most pleasant paths in the park and requires only a little walking time and a good portion of patience, but not too much. This trail follows Moore's stream to the edge of the park and hikers can cross the stream on a rock face and follow the trail to the park boundary. Hikers can follow this path back to Murphy Drive and then follow it back to Lake Champlain and back to the parking lot.

The Troup 30 path is about 45 minutes away, wide and easy to walk, and reaches the end of the trail at the Walnut Tree House car park on the north side of Lake Champlain. The Eagle Trail branches off from the Eagle Trail and ends at a forest road near the Walnut Tree House.

The Eagle Trail is about 20 minutes away and the Hirschrub Trail starts at the Upper Pavilion and runs along Chewacla Creek to a forest road near the Walnut Tree House. The entry point to the Deer Rub Trail starts on the east side of the observation deck and joins it at Che Wacacaca Creek.

This path leads into steep terrain and boots are recommended, but not necessary, as the path descends steeply from the parking lot to the stream and back.

The Loop Road Trail is an entertainment road cut off from traffic, but there is no asphalt road. This trail leads to the Chewacla Falls and the route runs the length of the park, from the parking lot to the hiking trail on a hill.

The Mountain Lorrel Trail starts at the upper pavilion, leads to the Chewacla Falls, then follows Lake Che Wacaca and up the hill again. This tour takes about 1 hour and the path has several connecting paths that lead back to the area of the Upper Pavilion.

This mountain bike trail runs along the upper part of Murphy Drive and is partially connected to the Hirschrubenweg and Lauberweg. This trail is one of the most popular hiking trails in Chewacla State Park and a popular destination for hikers and mountain bikers.
