The park's picturesque waterfalls and paddling pools give the park its name "Indian" and its picturesque view of the Indian River Make it a great place to spend a lazy summer day.

Indian Well is so named for its picturesque waterfalls, paddling pools and scenic views of the Indian River. The area was never used as a fountain by the local Indians, but rather as an area for fishing, hunting and other recreational activities.

The main attraction of the park are the waterfalls, which are very beautiful, and the shady picnic groves along the coast are a nice place to spend a lazy summer day.

At the end of the exit, turn left, go north for about two miles and then take the next left onto Howe Avenue. The Indian Well State Park is on the right and to the right is the entrance to the park parking lot, about half a mile away.

Take exit 14 and drive approximately 1 mile and turn right into the parking lot on the corner of Howe and Howe Avenue.
