About Watson Mill State Park

Nestled in the mountains of North Georgia, Unicoi is one of Georgia's oldest and most popular state parks and home to some of the state's most beautiful and scenic landscapes. Over the years, the park has offered excellent programs focusing on natural, cultural, historical and recreational resources. Groups can register for special programs through the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (GNR) and Artisans should not miss the lodge's souvenir shop, which specialises in handmade quilts and local pottery. Outdoor enthusiasts can hike or cycle along scenic mountain trails to Great Falls National Park and Unicoi Falls State Park.

Nestled in the Chattahoochee National Forest, the lodge in Unicoi State Park is a beautiful backdrop for groups of all tastes. The park has a number of picnic tables, as well as a picnic area with picnic benches, picnic chairs and picnic table seating.

The trails at Unicoi State Park are pleasant all year round, but in spring and summer you will find colorful flower buds. In autumn, when the leaves begin to change, a row of red, yellow and orange trees decorate the mountains. At the end of the working day, guests can enjoy a picnic at the lodge or at one of the picnic tables along the paths of the park. Bring your office system with you to the office building, the office space and the office equipment such as computers, fax machines, telephones and computers.

In the winter months, hikers and cyclists can enjoy magnificent views of the area, which are unparalleled in any other season. The trail, the Unicoi Mountain Bike Trail, is located at the entrance of the lodge on the north side of UnICOi State Park. Hiking maps and a map of all hiking trails in the park and mountain biking trails are available at reception.

In spring, along the Unicoi mountain bike trail and along the paths in the park, you will find various wild flowers and flowers. You walk through the remains of an old farmhouse and through a forest with views of the New York State Capitol and the Hudson River.

The path leads through several streams and then meets the rippling water of Smith Creek on the way back to the lodge. Frog ponds are characterized by interpretative signs and tree markings, and you get to know the wildlife that makes Unicoi its home.

This medium to strenuous winding path starts at the Bottom Loop Trail and leads through the park until you cross Lower Smith Creek. The trail crosses several small streams and then crosses the Unicoi mountain bike trail before reaching the "Unicois Hill City Park" in Helen. This trail crosses several smaller streams before it becomes the Unico i Mountainbike Trail.

The path is mostly flat and winds around the edge of the 53-hectare Uncoi lake, but it is a great autumn walk to look at the leaves. Unicoi State Park and the surrounding mountains, with a few small streams and some great views of Lake Uno.

The park does not offer a shuttle service, so guests are encouraged to bring water, wear appropriate footwear and to set out by going only one way. The walk is considered to be strenuous and the park is not open to the public, but we encourage guests not only to bring water, but also to wear appropriate shoes and to prepare for their journey if they are on foot. Bebe is on the US Forest Service Trail, which leads from Unicoi State Park to the Anna Ruby Falls Recreation Area.

This trail follows the Chattahoochee National Forest, which starts in Unicoi and leads to the Anna Ruby Falls Recreation Area and the park itself. Located on the south side of the river, east of Unicoi State Park, at the intersection of US Highway 20 and US Forest Service Trail.
