About Lake DArbonne State Park

The rolling hills of Lake D'Arbronne State Park, home to the largest freshwater lake in the world, draw visitors to this tranquil and majestic state park. The park's facilities are designed to focus on nature and blend into the natural landscape to enhance the outdoor experience of the 655-acre park. Starting point for a day at the park is the lake itself, with its picturesque views of the Great Lakes of North Dakota.

The playgrounds are available day and night and guests can choose from a variety of activities such as swimming, boating, canoeing, kayaking, paddling, hiking, fishing, camping and much more.

The recreation on Lake D'Arbonne is very popular with locals and visitors, fishing boats and boat moorings attract visitors to the lake. The lake is a fishing paradise due to the large number of lakes and campsites on the lake and the extensive fishing and boating possibilities.
