About Lake St. George State Park

Lake St. George State Park is located south of the city of St. George, New Hampshire, in the state of Vermont. The state road 3 runs parallel to the lake, which was originally part of a farmstead. The heart of this park is Lake St. Georgen, which can be seen from the state road 3, north of the city and west of Lake Georgs.

Pirates are frequent visitors and their calls are often heard at night, and the campsites in the park are located near the lake where you can enjoy a cup of coffee while watching the sunrise over the crystal clear waters.

The lake is 1,017 hectares in size and numerous undeveloped islands surround the main basin of the lake. Inland fishing for salmon and brown trout is a popular sport, and visitors can rent canoes and boats to explore the park's undeveloped coastline.

The daily and use area consists of a combination of campsites and beaches where picnic tables and barbecues are available, as well as a variety of picnic areas and picnic facilities.

A three to five kilometre long hiking trail is accessible on foot from the campsite and lifeguards are on duty. The day and use area has a sandpit where toddlers can play in the sand, as well as a variety of picnic areas and picnic facilities, picnic tables and barbecues.
