About Elkhorn State Park
A back road leads through a 19th century mining landscape to reach the historic Brotherhood and Gillian's Hall in the private town of Elkhorn.
Historic American Buildings Survey, the buildings were included in the National Register of Historic Places and included in the Historic American Building Survey. We took our cameras to capture this outstanding example of frontier architecture that has been preserved in the historic Brotherhood of Elkhorn State Park and Gillian's Hall, a historic building in the center of the city.
Elkhorn State Park is located in southwest Montana and is easily accessible from Boulder along Highway 69. At the two intersections, turn left, cross a small bridge to the left, turn left and turn right onto Highway 68, then right onto Interstate 15 for the rest of the way.
