About Higley Flow State Park
Higley Flow State Park is located at the foot of the Adirondack, along the scenic Raquette River. There are spacious campsites in the park, separated from the neighbours by pine trees.
The picturesque river is ideal for canoeing and fishing, and there is a sandy beach near the Raquette River Reservoir. The area is surrounded by hilly and densely wooded terrain, with a number of small lakes and rivers, as well as some streams and ponds.
The Beaver Pond Nature Trail is equipped with interpretative signs describing the six different habitats that the Nature Trail leads. There are hiking trails where snowmobiling, snowshoeing and ice fishing are allowed, as well as a variety of other recreational activities.
