About Prince Gallitzin State Park

In the picturesque Allegheny Plateau region of Pennsylvania lies Prince Gallitzin State Park, one of the largest national parks in North America. The main attraction of the park are its main attractions, and large parts of them can be seen from several easily accessible views.

Ten modern cottages can be rented all year round, and each cottage is furnished and has its own amenities such as kitchen, bathroom, dining room, kitchenette and bathroom. Cyclists are allowed to use the public parking areas, campers all paths in the park and the paths and parking spaces on the north and south sides. There is open access to mountain biking and hiking trails along the east side of Prince Gallitzin State Park, but in this northern part of the park, mountain bikers and hikers are not on mountain bike trails or trails.

Cyclists should follow the road rules and the usual courtesies and behave on the website with maps and queues for additional information. Prince Gallitzin State Park is located in northern Cambria County, about 1.5 miles north of Philadelphia and about 3 miles south of Harrisburg. PA 53, You can drive to Thrift in Flinton, PA 36 to Patton and east on Glendale Lake Road, or turn off US 219 at Carrolltown on SR 4015 and head west on US-219.

In Flinton, Beaver Valley Road also leads into the park and is a more direct route to the campsites.

For thrift, State Park Drive and Marina Road take you to some of the park's main areas for daytime use. Follow PA 36 to 99 North, then turn west at the intersection of SR 4015 and US-219 in Carrolltown and take SR4015.
