About Edge of the Cedars State Park
Edge of the Cedars State Park is a modern museum that was once a regional archaeological depot for southeastern Utah. The once thriving Indian civilization in southeastern Utah is embedded in the remains of over 1,000 ancient artifacts from the region's past.
The Edge of the Cedars Cedar Museum houses the largest collection of ancient artefacts in the United States and the only museum of its kind in Utah. Other exhibits show the history of Cedar City, Utah, and its history as a regional archaeological repository for Native American civilization in southeastern Utah.
The edge of Cedars State Park is near Blanding, and there is a picnic area, but camping is best at the park's main campground on the edge of Cedar City, Utah, near the entrance to the museum.
