About Tolmie State Park

Tolmie State Park is a wooded park located just outside Tolmie, North Carolina, about 20 miles north of Charlotte, NC.

The park offers a diving park with diving site, swimming pool and water park. The park has a number of hiking trails as well as trails for kayaking, canoeing, hiking, fishing, kayaking and rafting.

The park is open all year round - for daily use, but it closes in the winter months due to snow melt and other weather conditions, as well as in the summer months.

There are no tents in the park, but some for boaters who want to stay on their boats, and there is a boat ramp for them. The park is named after former Toledo State Park Superintendent John Frazer, who served as the first director of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) for 16 years.

The park has five moorings and berths, docks and floating buoys are available for boat trips, but within a few kilometers of the park no service is available.

The kitchen table has a picnic table, sink and grill, and the upper kitchen, which can accommodate up to 50 people, can be reserved by calling 360 - 456 - 6464. The park offers a variety of activities, such as kayaking, canoeing, hiking, fishing, kayaking and kayaking.
