About Paradise Point State Park

Paradise Point State Park is one of the most popular parks in the state of California and the second largest in California. The park, which got its name because of its original peacefulness, has lost its name since the opening of the highway. The area is of great natural beauty, however, and you can avoid the noise of I-5 by using the forest campsites.

Paradise Point State Park was purchased in six lots between 1958 and 1986, and the two floors gave the park its name.

Once, a local tribe used the area as a camp on the eastern Lewis River and called it Paradise Point. A powerboat club from Portland, Oregon, drove up to the camp to take river cruises and camped there.

This quiet and peaceful area is called Paradise Point, and we will add an additional $1 per night to each of the busy parks listed below. Please note that the following general fees and information do not apply to all parks and not to all parks (for example, the fee indicated for primitive campsites and landfills only applies to parks that have them).

Choosing a premium campsite at this park can charge you $1 per night or $5 per day for a total of three nights.

In addition to the park, you can also camp on the beach or in the campsite parking lot at Paradise Point State Park.

In summer, you can stay in the park for up to ten consecutive days, but the length of stay cannot be extended for more than three days at a time. Check-in is 14: 30, check-out is 13: 00, and quiet times are 22: 00 - 06: 30. If you are camping with a second vehicle, this fee is included in your camping fee and additional vehicles must be parked on the designated campsite with additional pitches. If you bring a recreational vehicle, you will be charged $10 per night for the second vehicle.

The park has nine primitive sites in the forest, and the maximum length of each site is 40 feet, possibly due to limited availability. The campsites are located within the green zone, but the site has a lot of catching up to do, so the park has a list of all available sites on its website and on the park's Facebook page.

The boat ramp is dirty and very primitive, and depending on the water level, the boat launch may not be usable. Campers can arrive by boat, canoe or by reservation of a call, but campers must make a reservation at least 30 minutes before departure.

Take exit 16 and follow the signs to the park and park in the parking lot of the Paradise Point Hotel.

The hotel is located on the south side of Interstate 95, north of Exit 16, about half a mile from the entrance.
