About Cacapon State Park

The Cacapon Resort Park takes its name from the Cacapons River, which runs parallel to and through the mountain range. The mountain reaches an altitude of 2,300 feet and is one of the highest mountain ranges in the state of New Mexico and the second highest in North America.

The Cacapon Resort in State Park is an ideal setting for wedding ceremonies and receptions. If you are planning your wedding by the lake, we have a lakeside shelter and a beautiful gazebo that provides a great location for planning an outdoor wedding. Weddings and receptions can take place on or near the lake, and if you plan a wedding on the lake, you will have accommodation on the lake.

This room adjoins the hotel and can be used as a large meeting room. For outdoor ceremonies, guests can move into the lodge reception, which seats 200.

The conference room is located on the ground floor of the main house, and the parameters for the room are limited by 67 x 6 x 42.6 feet, with a maximum seating capacity of 250 people. There is a smaller meeting room measuring 38 by 6 by 27.5 feet that can accommodate up to 85 people but is not as large as the larger room.

The room measures 45 by 43 metres and can accommodate up to 150 people, with a maximum capacity of 250 people in the conference room.

The bathhouse provides a great setting for any occasion and the parameters are 76 by 20 feet and can accommodate up to 86 banquets. The parameters are 18 by 45 feet, can accommodate 50 people and are 76 x 20 meters in size, with a maximum capacity of 250 people.

The modern cabins are built year-round in insulated frames and feature wood panelled walls, wooden floors and wooden floors. Currently, thirteen of the 13 modern cottages have a maximum capacity of 50 people and a total of 1,500 square meters. Two fully accessible cabins have recently been added to the park, and there is a busy lodge and golf course on the north side of Cacapon State Park.

Each cottage has a fireplace and all are now equipped with window heating and air conditioning. Similar to modern cabins, the rustic cabin is open from March to November and has a window - mounted heating / air conditioning system and wood-paneled walls, wooden floors and wooden floors. The modern vacation homes on the south side of Cacapon State Park are open from April to October and each vacation home on the north side is open from October to December.

Swimming and boating are available at the Cacapon Resort State Park on the lake, and lifeguards are deployed every day in summer. The swimming pool has a wide sandy beach, and rowing boats and pedal boats can be rented on the lake for swimmers.

Guests can make use of the newly designed tennis courts at the Cacapon Resort State Park by the lake, as well as the State Park's indoor and outdoor pools.

A Batt Picnic Shelter is located further up the mountain, and Cacapon State Park offers four reservations. Near the picnic area is a boat dock with access to one of the four picnic areas of the National Park.

For recreational and hiking enthusiasts, Cacapon offers a wide range of trails suitable for all types of hiking, biking, camping, fishing and other outdoor activities. A 20 km hiking trail is available for hikers, and parking maps and guides are available at reception. Over 6,000 acres, including the CACapon Resort and State Park, covering a total area of over 2,500 acres.

Enjoy the rugged Cacapon Mountain with views of the New York City skyline, Hudson River and Atlantic Ocean. The view is accessible by car from May to October, but adventurous hikers can enjoy the view all year round. They are just a few miles from Route 9, where a tow service is located.
