Product Details

The Browning Camping Cabin Chair is a hybrid folding & collapsible rocking chair, allowing it to be packed into a small cylindrical bag with a diameter of 10 in (25 cm) and a length of 34 in (86 cm).

Structure-wise, the chair uses powder-coated steel on the frame. The pair of rocking rails have an oval profile for increased contact with the ground. Weighing 11 lbs (5 kg), the chair can carry up to 300 lbs (136 kg) of load.

The seat is made of a TechNet fabric with a mesh center for increased breathability. The armrests are angled to allow for a smaller size when packed. The support bars are designed to pivot when the chair is folded.

Our Take

The Browning Camping Cabin Chair is so easy to set up. Though it requires some assembly despite being a folding chair, it’s a minimal task. In fact, it takes around 15 seconds to set up.

The seat’s fabric is thin but comfortable and durable. It helped keep our backs cool due to the mesh portion.

We were pleased with the quality of this chair. Although very light, the structure is stiff, keeping the whole thing stable even when rocking.

There’s just a minor gripe. The low height of the chair made getting out of the chair is a bit of a struggle.

Thankfully, the armrests are angled to help with this problem. All in all, we’re satisfied with this chair’s performance. It’s an excellent value for money and a great companion outdoors.
