Product Details

The Kamp-Rite Folding Rocking Chair is a high-back rocking chair. It folds into a smaller space for easier transportation.

Structure-wise, the frame is made out of aluminum and reinforced with support bars for stability and sturdiness. Thanks to this, the chair supports up to 300 lb (136 kg) of weight. The bars on the ground are designed to prevent the chair from sinking into the ground.

The seat is fashioned out of durable 600D polyester, combined with mesh panels for ventilation. A high backrest allows for great back support and a comfortable experience, especially while rocking.

Once the chair is packed, it shrinks into 31 x 25 x 39 in (79 x 64 x 99 cm). It weighs 12 lb (5.44 kg)

Our Take

We found the Kamp-Rite Folding Rocking Chair simple and easy to use. There’s no assembly required, and the whole thing folds and unfolds pretty much like a book.

The seats are very durable, surviving hard use with minimal signs of wear. The frame is very sturdy, with no signs of “give,” even while rocking. We appreciate the mesh screen, as it allows some form of cooling, especially when sitting for a long time.

While the chair is indeed portable, as evidenced by the folding assembly, it’s still massive and bulky when packed. Because the rocking rails are fixed, the chair remains long when packed. There’s no carrying bag either.

Bulkiness aside, we’re delighted with this chair. It’s very tough, and a great value as well.
