In 1933, this part of the mountain was chosen as a park area and the Civil Protection Corps built many bridges, paths, huts and pavilions in rustic style for the park from local stone and Nebo logs.

The Park Service operates a number of fully equipped cottages with fully equipped kitchens and fireplaces that can be rented. This park offers a variety of hiking trails, picnic areas, hiking trails, camping, hiking and picnicking, and camping.

The cabins, which are equipped with central heating and air conditioning, are fully equipped with kitchen, bathroom and shower.

Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with can opener, ironing board, iron and ironing board, dishwasher, electric stove and gas stove. It also offers access to shower, toilet, bathroom, kitchen, dining room, laundry room and bathroom.

The beds are available in the two rooms with frames queen size and each cabin has its own bathroom, kitchen, dining room, laundry and bathroom. The cabins have a wood-burning stove, gas stove and electric stove for cooking and have an outdoor shower with shower head, toilet, shower curtain and bathtub.

At the beginning of the 20th century, the bank was equipped with a road, but today it is a wooded area teeming with large trees and wildlife. The Bench Trail starts at the lookout hut, which is visible when entering the mountain park. There are narrow shelves called benches that surround the entire mountain, and you can walk the way from the cabin to the top of Nebo State Park.

The path is mostly flat and offers views of the mountain, and what remains of the steps that were part of an early development of the bath are still visible today.

From Russellville take Highway 7 to 40 South to Dardanelle, turn right onto Highway 22 West, then left onto Highway 155 West over the hill and turn left.

Originally built in 1890, the path was completely expanded by the CCC in the 1930s and provided with stone steps and retaining walls, and since then has been expanded and rebuilt. Spectacular views stretch for more than 100 miles across the Arkansas River Valley, including the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Ozark National Forest. The circumnavigation of the mountain and the views of Nebo Mountain and its surroundings, as well as the Mississippi Valley, offer spectacular views of Arkansas, Arkansas State Park, Fort Smith and Arkansas City.

The trail starts here on the northwest side of the mountain and winds around the Fernsee lake, named after the hiking trail built in 1889, on which the Summit Park Hotel was built. The same path leading to the Fernsee, which was first used by guests of this famous hotel, leads to the top of Mount Nebo, which is named after the park's namesake, Mount Nebo.

In the 1930s the route was improved by the civil defence with beautiful rock work on site. The trail leads along the park bench path and the Fernsee lake, and brochures for self-guided hikes are available in the park's visitor centre.

Mount Nebo State Park is one of Canada's most popular gliding parks, offering a take-off and landing area for hang gliders and a range of other activities.
