At 2,753 feet, Mount Magazine is Arkansas' tallest mountain and has long been a major source of natural resources, including rare and endangered species. In the surroundings of the present town, it was a popular destination for settlers who came here in the 19th century to practice agriculture.

Cabins and lodges were built to attract and accommodate travelers who traveled to the mountain to relax and escape the depths of the cool temperatures on the summit.

The Park Campsite, which opened in summer 2001, has been rebuilt and rebuilt from the original campsites, including the old cabins and lodges, as well as a new campsite and picnic area. The campsite in Mount Magazine State Park is located on the east side of the park, north of Mount Magazine and south of Mt. Magazine Road. Camping is especially popular in the summer months, as many of the campsites in Mount Magazine State Park are open year-round, but the benefits of camping on a mountain are the temperature and lack of mosquitoes.

Camping sites, horses and trailers are located throughout the State Park, and when the campsite is full, campers can choose from a variety of camping options, including campgrounds, cabins, tents and horse trailers, as well as a number of private campsites.

Currently, only one of the 21 modern campsites is undeveloped, but it will be available for campers, horses and horses in the future.

At the entrance to Huckleberry Mountain Horse Trail is the US Forest Service Lodge, which has been operated at the same location since 1940. The refuge has been part of Mount Magazine's recreational heritage since the 19th century, and this world-class facility continues to operate as it is, including the last one - the US Forest Service Lodge at its original location, which opened in May 2006 and was maintained by its previous owner, the National Park Service. Bicycles can be rented at the lodge, but if you just want to take a ride on the Huckleberry Mountain Trail from the lodge to Mount Magazine State Park, you can do so for free. The Trailhead and parking lot at the US Forest Service Lodge make the ride a pleasure for cyclists, and riders can access the Trailhead from any of the many parking spaces in the park and from surrounding cities.

A hallmark of Arkansas Park is its diversity. Hikers can hike at will and explore the mountain's many natural and historical resources. Mount Magazine State Park offers a variety of hiking, biking, camping, hiking and biking trails. High-tech treasure hunts with GPS devices are among the outdoor adventures to be enjoyed in Arkansas State Parks. The park also has 34 miles of Huckleberry Mountain Horse that lead into the adjacent Ozark National Forest. The total network of paths in the park is 14.2 km, and the length of the paths varies between 0.8 and 2.9 miles.

The Huckleberry Mountain Horse Trail is one of the most popular hiking trails in the Ozark National Forest and can be enjoyed from the main entrance of the park on the west side of Mount Magazine State Park. From here, ATV hikers, bikers and riders can follow the trail through the park's boundaries and then head into the national forest, which is about 1.5 miles north - west of Mt.
