About Madison Blue Springs State Park

A crystal clear spring of the first order is located in one of the new parks in Florida, in a popular seaside resort. The spring gushed from the water's edge at Madison Blue Springs State Park in Madison, Florida, over the summer.

Madison Blue Spring is located in Madison, Florida, a popular seaside resort on the west side of Lake Okeechobee. Madison Blue Springs State Park, one of Florida's youngest parks, was established in 2010 with the help of the Florida Department of Natural Resources (DNR).

The entrance to the spring is about 200 yards south of the freeway, which is bordered by Interstate 95, Interstate 75 and the Florida State Highway System.

Swimming in the headwaters is allowed in clear water, but divers must dive within their certification limits. A small canoe start provides access to the river, and there is a canoe rental service on site. In this area there will be equipment rental and a small boat parking.

C-card is displayed in full view on the dashboard of your vehicle and in the centre console of the vehicle in the front and rear view mirrors.

The State Park Pass is awarded with a show pass in full view of the dashboard, and divers must get out of the water during the hours after sunset.

Picnic tables, barbecues and shelters are available, and volleyball courts with nets and balls are also available in the summer months and in autumn and winter.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome at Madison Blue Springs State Park, but must always be on a leash and not be left unattended for more than an hour. Dogs are not allowed in any building in spring and dogs must always be kept on a lead in the summer months.
