About Elijah Clark State Park
The park is located on the west side of the Georgia-Alabama border, south of Atlanta, Georgia. It is named after Elijah Clark, a frontier crosser and war hero from Georgia who led the pioneers in the Revolutionary War.
Visitors can also visit the grave of Clark and his wife Hannah, and the renovated, furnished log cabin museum is open for weekend tours from April to November. Fishermen and boaters will particularly enjoy the man-made lake and its picturesque views. The cottages are located on the shore of the lake, the spacious campsites in the forest and a small museum on the grounds.
The hotel is located on the top of the hill, a short walk from the main entrance to the park and a few miles south of Elijah Clark.
