About Mistletoe State Park

The park is known for its scenic views of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and is located on the western edge of Mt. Rainier State Park in upstate New York. Game and observation areas are available and guests can cool off in a variety of outdoor recreational areas, including a picnic area, picnic tables, waterfalls and a water park.

The park has seven fully equipped cottages, five of which are log cabins, and one-room camper cottages overlooking the lake. The campsites are located on a peninsula and offer a variety of amenities such as picnic tables, waterfalls and a water park. Each campsite has access to a picnic area, picnic table, stone chairs and picnic benches, as well as a swimming pool.

The 3.75 mile long trail has a total length of 1,500 feet and a maximum altitude of 5,000 feet. The tracks are white and consist of a mixture of dirt, gravel, rock, sand and gravel and dirt.

The parking lot for the trail is located in the office next to the information kiosk. Soon after we descend to Cliatt Creek, along the creek, on an asphalt road, then uphill and on a second asphalt park road. Soon the path crosses the asphalt roads and follows a stream, then climbs up to a high point.

Originally, cotton, corn and tobacco fields were cultivated by rotation, but today these fields are replaced by pine, oak, sweet herb and beech. We stop to enjoy the cool temperatures and beauty of Cliatt Creek and continue our mountain tour back to the office.

This 1.3 mile trail offers beautiful views of Cliatt Creek, the creek and the mountains to the east and west. The path is criss-crossed in red and white, with red, white and blue stripes along the edge and a red and white sign at the top of each step.

The Cliatt Creek Trail is one of the most popular hiking trails in Misty State Park and the only one in the park. Start at the hiking trail on the north side of Mountain View Drive and follow it from the office for 1.10 miles. Note the red-white Canyon Trail Loop on the right and then a red-white-blue path on the left.

During this tour you will reach the gorge caused by the Cliatt Creek Trail and the red and white Canyon Trail Loop, both in Misty State Park.

The best place to take a photo of the bench is at the foot of Cliatt Creek, right on the red Canyon Trail Loop in Misty State Park, near the Creek.

There is a path connecting to the beach path and the sign indicating a right turn to the office path looks out onto the beach path. This 1.2 mile long path has a deep pink path with a short stretch on the right side of the path.

This 1.9 mile long path has a deep pink path with a short section on the right side of the path and the path is pearled in yellow.

It starts southwest of the campsite at the landfill and turns right onto the Beach Trail, which then goes straight on to the south and east to the beach. The Campground Loop Trail runs half a mile and burns yellow and white, but it turns south on the west side of Lake Tahoe and then turns east onto the Beach Trail. This beach path provides a picturesque access to a beach with a short section of the pink path and a long stretch of white path on both sides.

This 1.5 km long path has a short section of white path and a long section of pink path and ends at the beach. Cross an asphalt road, cross a bridge and cross pine and deciduous woods, then cross another bridge over a gravel road and then a dirt road to the end of the path.

The trail is located southwest of the campsite and near the landfill and is planted with white trails, with a short stretch of pink trail at the end of this trail.

The Campground Loop Trail crosses an asphalt road, passes an American holly stand, crosses a tributary with a pedestrian bridge in the background, descends to the lake and crosses the asphalt roads. From the point where it starts, turn right onto the Beach Trail, which continues straight ahead. The colour yellow and white is the same as the beach path, the "beach path," which is 3-4 miles long.

The Rock Dam Trail is the most challenging trail in the park and requires 4 river crossings. The 6.25 mile long path has blue paths with a white peak and blue bottom, and has 4 bridges over the river and 3 bridges on the asphalt roads.

Follow the Cliatt Creek Trail to the asphalt road and look for the Rock Dam Trailhead on the right.

Start on the path you have reached and follow it until you reach the bridge over the river and the first of the 4 bridges on your left, the Red River Bridge.

After about 1.5 miles you will reach the Red River Bridge and the Blue Flame Trailhead on the right. Follow the blue flame in the opposite direction to Cliatt Creek and follow the Rock Dam Trail. To return to the office, follow the "Return Trail" from the hiking trail at the northern end of the parking lot and back to the asphalt road.
