About Hamilton Branch State Park

The park stretches across a peninsula that offers a large coastline for fishing, and the rolling grounds of the park offers a variety of wildlife and provides an excellent environment to see the natural beauty of the Savannah Valley region. Hamilton Branch is located on the west side of Hamilton Lake, the largest lake in the state of South Carolina. This is also why most of the campsites in this park are located directly opposite the lake.

Three picnic huts are available for families and other group gatherings, and accommodations can be reserved for $30 to $38 a day. If the accommodation is not reserved, guests can use it free of charge upon arrival or for up to three days.

Reservations for the annual Hamilton Branch State Park picnic can also be made through February 23 on the website or by emailing hamiltonbarnspark @ gmail.com.

Look for the parking sign at the entrance to Hamilton Branch State Park on the east side of Highway 221. From Colombia, take Highway 221 to N. Drive to the park entrance and look for parking signs on both sides of the road.
