About Nine Eagles State Park

The park has trees that are over 300 years old, and the eagles consist of wooded hills and valleys, with a variety of birds, birds of prey and other wildlife. Visitors can go horse riding, swimming, fishing, hiking, camping, picnicking and camping, with tables and fireplaces scattered over the 1100 hectares of the park.

The plants native to the area provide excellent protection for birds and wildlife, and waterfowl are a common sight along the lake shore. In the park you can see white and tail deer as well as a variety of birds of prey such as ducks, geese, turkeys and ducks.

There are 68 pitches, 28 of which are equipped with electricity and 28 without, and seven primitive equestrian campsites, which also include fireplaces, pits and toilets.

The lake is one of the clearest man-made waters in the state, and fishing on the 64-hectare deep-water lake is a popular sport.

Nine Eagles is a great place for picnics, and there are shady picnic areas throughout the park. Two open shelters are available and can be reserved at the parking office for a fee. Nine Eagles State Park with its wide open spaces is also a good place for a picnic.

There is a nine-kilometre-long trail that winds through the wooded hills and valleys of the park.

Another six kilometers of hiking trails are available to cyclists, and there is also a six kilometer long route for mountain bikers and mountain bikers.
