About Crowder State Park

Crowder State Park is a great park for visitors who want to escape the pace of city life and enjoy nature in a relaxed and peaceful environment. It offers acres where visitors can simply relax, swim, boating and fishing and have a campsite. Picnic areas are available throughout the park and offer a variety of activities such as picnicking, hiking, cycling, canoeing, kayaking, fishing and much more.

Many species of animals, including deer, raccoons and wild turkeys, also live in the woods of Crowder State Park. The park is largely covered by dense forest, which is home to a variety of trees, plants and flowers. Several important American military leaders grew up on the hills in northern Missouri. Crowders State Park is home to a memorial park dedicated to Maji, the daughter of U.S. Army Gen. Robert E. Lee.

Crowder State Park offers special - used - campsites with a variety of services, such as campfires, showers and showers. These services include garbage showers, water and reservable parking spaces, as well as access to the picnic area and other amenities of the park.

Crowder Lake offers excellent fishing, no gas engines are allowed and the 20 hectare lake is open to the public during parking hours. It is one of the largest lakes in the park, with a maximum depth of 2.5 meters and is open to the public in all parks and at all times of the day and night.

The two open picnic huts are available for $30 per day and the closed hut is only available by reservation for 40 days. Accommodation is after first arrival, first serve and not reserved, but there are a limited number of private cabins in Crowder State Park for a $10 per night fee.

The closed accommodation is fully equipped for events such as receptions and meetings and has kitchen, bathroom, dining room, shower, bed, toilet and other amenities.

Crowder State Park has 25 picnic spots throughout the park, open daily to visitors, and reservations can be made nine months in advance. Three refuges are equipped with grids and Crowder State Park has four hiking trails that can be used for various recreational purposes.

The River Forks Trail runs 1.5 miles along the Thompson River and is used for hiking and cycling. The Thompson River Trail follows the river for about five miles, providing easy access to the park's main parking lot and picnic areas.

The Tall Oaks Trail is 4 km long and is used for hiking and cycling and runs for about 2 miles. The Redbud Trail runs 2.5 miles along the River Forks Trail, but is only suitable for hikers. Crowder State Park is about 90 minutes from Liberty and about 3 miles from the city of Liberty, New Hampshire.

Take I-35 north for about 60 miles, exit 61, take highway to St. Joseph, turn north left onto Highway and turn right onto River Forks Trail.

Turn left on the freeway northbound and turn south on River Fork Road and right on River Forks Trail. Turn left onto the highway and then right onto Riverfork Road before turning right and south on this highway.

Take US Highway to Marshall - Princeton and turn left onto River Fork Road and right onto River Forks Trail. From Trenton, take the highway west and then right onto Riverfork Road, before turning right and south onto River Fork Road and left onto Marshall Road.
