Lovewell State Park is a haven for nature lovers looking for variety, and off the beaten track, Lovewell in northern Jewell County offers an enticing mix of nature and a variety of wildlife.

The Bluebird Primitive Campground is reserved for camping groups, and designated electric pitches can be reserved. In addition to the primitive campsite, there is also a designated campsite in the park for groups of up to 10 people and a designated electric pitch, which you can reserve.

The archery range is located north of the shower building, and the vaulted toilets, fire pit, showers and picnic area are all centrally located in the park.

Southwind's swimming beach offers plenty of sun and shade, and there are two basketball courts west of the marina. The Pioneer Day area includes a picnic area with picnic tables, a fireplace, fireplaces and picnic benches. Picnic facilities are available in the lounge, as well as large log cabins that can be reserved for camping, picnics and other outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing and camping.

The south coast has high cliffs blocking the summer winds, and Lovewell Reservoir is popular with anglers. You are invited to experience a variety of well-managed habitats in the park, with a wide range of bird species, mammals, reptiles and amphibians, as well as birds of prey. Love well hosts several annual special events, including the annual Pioneer Day celebration, the State Park Day of the Dead Festival and other events.
