Throughout history, spring has attracted visitors from all over the United States and around the world. In the 19th century, many southerners came to the area to relax in this healing, bubbling water.

In 1782, the Kentucky Indians took part in the Battle of Blue Licks, one of the most famous battles in US history. It is widely known as the "Battlefield State Resort Park" or "Blue Lick's Battlefield" due to its proximity to the Mississippi River and was the site of a major battle between the United States and the Confederate States during the Civil War.

Kentucky suffered some major losses, including the son of Boone, and the name of the Battle of Blue Lick's Battlefield is engraved on his headstone, which cannot get enough honor. Visit the Pioneer Museum to learn more about the history of this historic battle and its impact on the United States and Kentucky.

The Pavilion has 225 seats and the Daniel Boone Hall has 175 seats, and both can be used for meetings, banquets and events.

The Arlington Room, the main sensitivity area, can accommodate up to 125 people, and the Daniel Boone Hall, with a seating capacity of 125, can accommodate the same number of people.

Water is available from mid-November to March, but the central service building and the campsites are closed during the winter months due to heavy snowfall and heavy rainfall. Enjoy the outdoors and camp out at Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Park for a great day of hiking, camping, fishing and camping.

The two two-bedroom cottages are offered to park visitors who want to visit Blue Licks overnight and feel at home. The cottage is well maintained and dishes, cooking utensils and bed linen are freshly washed daily. Pets are not allowed, are not kept or are allowed in the cottage, except for a small number of small children under 5 years.

The lodge has 32 rooms, including two suites, one of which can be used as a restaurant for meetings and family celebrations. Blue Licks resumed its glory days with the opening of the new lodge in the early 1990s as part of a $1.5 million renovation.

Tables, barbecues and playgrounds are available throughout the park for great picnics, and the rooms are available in the late afternoon and can be rented up to three years in advance.
