Lake Malone covers 788 hectares and combines all the beauty of Kentucky in one small package.

The lake is surrounded by a dramatic 50-foot sandstone cliff that rises above the water's edge and is surrounded by deciduous forest.

The park features campsites, a marina, beach and hiking trails, and you can explore everything at one of Kentucky's most popular tourist attractions, Lake Malone.

The easy to describe trails offer easy access to many rock walls that were once used by the Indians as hideouts. A rich carpet of native flora forms the basis of many of the park's trails and a variety of other natural features.

Natural wonders abound in this remote wilderness, and you can enjoy them all while enjoying the beautiful views of Lake Malone State Park and its surroundings in the summer months.

Twenty campsites are equipped with electricity and water connections to accommodate recreational vehicles, and over 100 primitive campsites are available. Some campsites have barbecues and picnic tables for the comfort of the campsite, as well as a picnic table, a fireplace or other amenities.

Pets are not allowed and must be kept at least 5 metres from the campsite entrance. Pets are not allowed on the park grounds or in the parking lot at any time.

Lifeguard protected swimming is available for endless hours of fun, and there is a bathhouse, shower and toilet for your comfort. If you need to cool off on a hot summer day, Lake Malone State Park offers the perfect solution with sandy beaches.

The jetty at Lake Malone State Park is the only one of its kind in the entire state of New York and is just a short walk from the town of Malone.

At the quay, you can stock up on fishing gear and sandwiches for lunch or rent two open sheets for $70 a night. You can also rent out up to 70 twin rooms and a bed and breakfast for the same amount ($60 per week) or up to $100 per month (or a total of $500 per year) for seasonal rentals for $20 per day or $50 per week for a full-time job on the beach.

All accommodations are equipped with relaxation rooms and can be rented up to a year in advance to make your family trip even more memorable. Picnic areas are located on each campsite and offer a variety of food and drink, as well as picnic tables, picnic chairs and picnic benches.

A rich carpet of native flora forms the basis of the park, which can be explored through a series of narrow, narrow trails, some of which form a natural barrier between the lake and the shores of Lake Malone State Park.

Lake Malone is 22 miles south of Central City and you can take US 431 to Lake Malone State Park from the US-431 exit on the west side of the freeway. From Western Kentucky Parkway, take the Central City Exit and exit at Kentucky - Kentucky State Parkway, then head south to the lake and then east on US 531.
