Barren brownstone canyons and rolling hills surround Grayson Lake State Park, one of the state's most popular campgrounds. This site was a popular campground for the Shawnee and Cherokee Indians, and you'll learn why when you visit the park's spacious campgrounds.

The check-in station is $1 for adults, $2 for children and $3 for seniors, and there is a telephone for a second fee. More information about the golf course and its facilities is available on the Grayson Lake State Park website and on Facebook.

The launch pad allows boaters to access Grayson Lake from any of the park's four access points and from the golf course. Pets are not allowed or kept in the parking lot or on the grounds of Grayson State Park or any other state park.

Just 3 miles from the park, the marina has everything you need for a great day at the lake. The marina is open all year round and hosts a variety of events and events, such as boat rentals, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming and kayaking rental.

The hiking trails start at the theatre and lead from the campsite to the lake shore and back. This is a great opportunity to discover and appreciate the natural beauty of Grayson Lake State Park and the scenic views.

For the more hearty hikers, there is also a 3-mile loop around Lick Falls, and the rhododendron flowers are particularly interesting along the way.
