About Bay City State Park

The Saginaw Bay recreation area is located on the coast of S Flint Bay in Bay City State Park, Michigan. The park covers an area of 1.5 hectares of wooded wetlands and a 1000 hectare lake. Leisure activities include kayaking, canoeing, paddling, fishing, kayaking and canoeing, boating, snorkeling and other activities in the bay.

Bird watching is a national hotspot all year round and spectacular, especially in spring and autumn. The museum touches on the history of Bay City State Park and its history as an important part of the city.

Teachers can choose from a variety of tailored experiences that meet their students "needs. These programmes are designed to teach and empower children and to give them the opportunity to learn more about nature. Your visit to the park should begin with this award-winning facility, and the center introduces visitors to Bay City State Park and its natural resources. The centre offers visitors interpretative opportunities to discover the richness of the wetlands and to introduce them to a wide range of animal species such as birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, birds of prey and reptiles.

Five apartments are available for rent in Bay City State Park, from $1,000 to $2,500 per month, and five apartments can be rented for $3,200 per week or $5,300 per year for a family of four.

For those who come to the bay, there is a built-in playground on three hectares, which covers three hectares. Visitors can picnic in Tobico Lagoon, lined with high cotton and ash wood, or on the beach in Bay City State Park. Adventure and fun for young and old are guaranteed by a variety of activities, from hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, fishing and kayaking.

More than seven kilometres of trails help visitors to explore the wetlands, including a 1.5 kilometre trail in the Tobico Lagoon and a 2.2 kilometre trail on the east side.

The two-mile Andersen Natural Trail runs along a rail corridor through the wetlands and Tobico Lagoon on the east side of Bay City State Park. Bicycles and rollerblades are welcome on designated parking lots and hiking trails, and bikes are also welcome on the 2.5-kilometer path from the park's entrance at the southern end.

Programmes offer practical learning opportunities aimed at achieving a deeper understanding of the natural world and its natural resources. Special reservations are offered for special events such as the annual Bay City State Park Summer Camp.
