About Aloha State Park

The park has 285 modern campsites and two beaches, and on the west side of the park there is an open area that provides a sheltered harbor for boats of various sizes. The beach has a sandy bottom and descends slightly from the shore and gently descends from the shore to a picnic area. It has sandy bottoms and is slightly higher than the other beaches in Aloha State Park, at an altitude of about 1,500 feet.

Ice fishing is also a popular winter sport in the park, and anglers can be found at Mullett Lake and on the north and south sides of the lake.

Three play areas include a playground for children aged 3 to 12 and a playground for adults and children of all ages.

A picnic shelter can be rented; for reservations and more information about the picnic area and other amenities, please contact the park.

The Mackinaw Falcons and the Rails The paths lead through Aloha State Park, the primary surface path is gravel. In summer, the trails are used for hiking, horseback riding and cycling, but are not motorized. In winter months the route is prepared for snowmobiles and in summer for tents.

Aloha State Park is located south of Cheboygan, where you can shop, eat and have fun.

Historic Mackinac Road is within an hour of the park and includes a range of restaurants, shops, bars, restaurants and other attractions in the town of Aloha.
