This 3,083-acre state park includes challenging hiking trails, quaint mountain huts and meeting facilities. The views of Table Rock are breathtaking and probably reminiscent of the Cherokee Indians who once inhabited the area. With its imposing peaks and rugged terrain, TableRock Mountain is the ideal backdrop for a scenic hike or day trip to one of America's most popular hiking destinations.

Built in the 1930s by the Civil Conservation Corps, the park is one of the oldest state parks in North Carolina. It still houses a number of historic buildings, including the old Civil Rights Museum. The multipurpose leisure centre is ideal for large group meetings and the sports hall - gym in style has a peeled grandstand and stage.

The small conference building in the chapel style is also used for small group meetings with up to 75 people. There is no capacity, but rental rates range from $1,500 - 2,000 per month for a one-bedroom to $3,300 - 4,200 per week for two bedrooms.

The hotel is located on Highway 11 and the signs point to Greenville, so take Highway 276 to GreenVILLE and Highway 11 to Table Rock.

Table Rock State Park is located 12 miles from the city of Greenville and 1.5 miles from the city of Table Rock.
