About Finger Lakes State Park

From the site of coal mines and miners, the landscape of Finger Lakes State Park has transformed into a recreational area with a variety of entertainment options. While off-road driving is the most popular activity in the park, wind, rain, snow and fog remain in the background. Visitors don't just hear the sounds of nature when they enjoy a day at Finger Lake State Park. The scenic beauty of the State Park and its natural surroundings attract people from all over the country.

A pleasant wooded area in the middle of the park is preserved for picnics and provides a welcome shade from the summer sun. The large sandy beach offers a variety of activities, such as kayaking, canoeing, hiking, fishing, camping and fishing. If you want to spend a day of relaxation or full-day adventure in a slower pace market, Finger Lakes State Parks will satisfy your yearning. There are many options for those who want to extend their schedule by another day.

The swimming pool is open from Memorial Day weekend until 31 October, bathing hours are from 8 am to 8 pm. Swimming is not allowed in the water expected at the boat ramp, but swimming is allowed on the beach, with water from the river and expected water at all boat ramps.

The park has trails for off-road vehicles, motorcycles and mountain bikes and has outdoor areas for riding stables.

In the northwest part of the park there is a main path marked by green arrows and orange poles. Most of this trail is unmarked and leads back to the main paths, but there are only signposted paths that lead to the campsites and motocross sites in the background. There are areas that are taboo for horse riding, such as an area near the parking lot and a small area in front of a stable.

More marked or marked trails are under construction, but maps of these trails are available. Always travel with a group of two or more people, plan your trip in advance and always travel in groups of three or four people.
