As the name suggests, Medicine Rocks was a place where magical spirits were summoned by Indian hunting societies for great medicine. It was the most beautiful place I've ever seen, "says a young rancher named Teddy Roosevelt.

The unique park is located at an altitude of 3,041 feet and covers 320 hectares and is one of the largest in the United States and the second largest in North America. Swiss cheese, weathering gives the soft sandstone rocks their appearance in many ways. The park also houses the world's largest collection of sharp-tailed chickens, as well as a number of other bird species.

Campers can stay in one of the many huts in Medical Rocks State Park or even in the park itself. At the entrance to the campsite there is a vaulted cabin, campfire and picnic area, and there is even a vaulted cabin overlooking the medicine rocks.

In Ekalaka there is also a museum, and in Baker there are two golf courses and another museum nearby. Medicine Rocks State Park is located on the west side of the park, south of Baker and north of Kamehameha. There is no fee to be there or to stay, but the herd area - a herd area - is the name of the primitive park.
