About Ackley Lake State Park
Ackley Lake, named after the early settlers and border crossers, offers a variety of water sports. The lake is full of rainbow trout and is often a great place to catch fish from 10 - 15 inches, as well as perch, trout and whitefish.
With a height of 430 meters and an area of 162 hectares, the park is the second highest in the state of New York and the third highest in North America.
