About Ainsworth State Park

Nestled in the stunning Columbia River Gorge, Ainsworth is equally divided into two distinct sections: Columbia Gorge State Park and Nesmith Point Trail. Leaving the park on the Nessmith Point path, you can see the majestic basalt monoliths that rise above you, and that are also at the top of a steep, rocky hillside, just a few hundred meters above the river.

Hiking is definitely something you want to do while camping at Ainsworth State Park, and the smell of campfires is a constant companion. At the back of the campsite you will find a wooded environment surrounded by trees, bushes, trees and trees. There are classic campsites, but there are also a number of modern campsites as well as a variety of other camping options.

For a great camping trip, everything has to splash in the stream, have a good view of the river and have many opportunities to splash in the stream. A variety of other camping options are available, including camping, hiking, kayaking, rafting, canoeing and fishing.
