About Paris Mountain State Park

One of the oldest nature reserves in the state is gaining popularity as a beautiful retreat from the big city. This ancient deciduous forest, which covers almost 1000 hectares in the heart of the Parisian State Park near the Radberg, had its fair share of visitors. The deciduous forest is even more spectacular in autumn, when it produces golden red and orange autumn trees.

Developed in 1935 by the Civil Protection, the park shows the craftsmanship of the CCC in several buildings and buildings. Canoes, kayaks, pedal boats and surfbikes can be rented on selected weekends, but private boats are not allowed in the Parksee. Boat rental is subject to the availability of lifeguards, and the number of boats available varies from day to day.

How to get there: Take Piney Mountain Rd onto Rt 1, turn right onto the road, pass the first set of traffic lights and drive approximately 4 miles. Turn right onto Rte 1, then left onto Rd 1 into the park and drive approximately 1.5 miles until you pass the first set of traffic lights.
