It also houses one of the oldest and most beautiful mansions in the United States and offers great views of New York City and New Jersey. It consists of a number of restored mansions and houses from the 19th and 20th centuries, as well as a number of other historic buildings and buildings.

South Carolina led the secession that encouraged other states to follow suit and form the Confederate States of America. Gist was a devout defender of the state and the grandson of a fighting revolutionary loyalist.

The Rose Hill Plantation was born from the family farm as a refuge for enslaved African Americans in South Carolina during the Civil War.

Both are on the National Register of Historic Sites, so this is an ideal place to explore South Carolina's history and its history as a refuge for enslaved African Americans during the Civil War.

To the left of the park is the Rose Hill State Park Recreation Center, and to the right is a park beach with a picnic area, picnic tables, a hiking trail and parking.

Take Exit 44 to Highway, Exit 45 to Interstate 95 and Exit 46 to Rose Hill State Park.

The park is located at the intersection of Sardis Rd and Rd. Turn left onto Sardes Rd, pass the Gist Cemetery on your left and go straight on Sardi Rd., turn left to the Rose Hill State Park and Park parking lot.
