With 619 acres of ancient evergreen growth, Federation Forest State Park is a day to take advantage of the natural space. Located on the White River, the park offers visitors the opportunity to hike, cycle, fish, camp and enjoy a variety of other activities.

The park was purchased on four plots between 1941 and 1971 and inaugurated in 1949, as well as acquired and developed. The park is only open during the day and has no overnight stays or parking, but is organized as a day, night and weekend park with tents, hiking, cycling, fishing, canoeing, kayaking and other activities.

The upper picnic area features a drinking fountain, picnic tables, benches, picnic table and picnic chairs. There is a covered picnic table with seating for up to 10 people and a large picnic bench with seating area.

Federal Forest State Park, one of the largest US national parks, is located 18 miles east of Enumclaw.

Take SR-18 at the Auburn - EnUMclaw exit and turn right onto Interstate 5, then left onto I-5 and then right onto Interstate 99, or take Sr.-18 Auburn to the Enumsville exit.
