About Palouse Falls State Park

Palouse Falls State Park is one of the most popular hiking and camping destinations in Washington State. The park offers a variety of hiking trails, waterfalls up to an altitude of 200 feet and a number of scenic views and scenic views.

The park opened on June 3, 1951 as Palouse Falls State Park, and the name was changed to commemorate the "Indian culture" of the Palouse Indians. The park takes its name from the waterfalls on the south side of the Palouse River, which flows into the Pacific Ocean at an altitude of 200 feet above sea level.

Five times the big beast was led by four giant brothers who followed a mythical creature called Big Beaver. Every time the beaver was injured, it tore through the ravine walls, bent over and changed the river. The fifth time I was at the top of the spearhead, I bravely fought with the brothers and broke through a huge ravine.

The rugged canyon walls showed deep traces of beaver claws, and at one point the river plunged through the cliffs and became the Palouse Falls.
