This is the 2019 version of the chair, which has been around for many years. Although the colors and weight are different, the functionality and features of the chair are identical.

This folding chair is double-sized and extremely sturdy. It will be easy to see how stable it feels when you sit down. It is fully padded. It is available in five color options, totaling 5.

CUP HOLDERS

Kelty is known for adding small details that make a big difference. The insulated cup holders are on both sides. However, they have a divider that you can move to one side. This allows you to keep smaller cups or larger bottles and still fit.

PADDED ROLL-TOTE STORAGE

Kelty has something special again. Instead of using a regular carry bag, they use a roll tote. It is padded so that you can use it to sit on the ground.

It can be used to cover your partner and yourself when you are sitting in camp. You will see this in action in the video. The system comes with three straps, buckles, and a shoulder strap to make it easy to carry.

Another feature is the adjustable armrests. The armrests are adjustable by using the straps at the back of your chair. They are soft, just so you know. However, you can use the bars at the front of the chair (integrated into the fabric) when you get up. See the photos above.

The feet design is great. There are six of them, and they are wide enough to not sink in the ground.

Who this is for?

Size-wise This duo is suitable for both couples and parents with children. It is 44 inches (112 cm) wide, which is plenty for two people. However, there are many other options. It is a loveseat, so it is okay.

It is easy to use by children as the chair is very low. The seat is 13.5 inches (34cm) high, which may make it difficult for older people. The chair has armrests that can be used to help you get in and out.

Capacity-wise The declared weight capacity of the is 500 lb (227kg), which is a very common value and nothing exceptional for two users. You can find double chairs with more features in the table below.

The packed size is a good 34. 5 x11 x 11 inches (88x28 x 28 cm), but this camping item is for areas with car access.

Our Take

This chair is an excellent purchase. It gives optimum comfort because it is very well made. As potential buyers, you have to know its features that may or may not suit you. Firstly, it is a low chair. This is great for beach setups and camping by the fire. It takes a little bit more of effort to climb out of compared to a traditional chair, but it gives great support when you are seated. The back is not high, so you cannot take a nap on this chair. Certainly, it is made for the outdoors. On top of these, it can accommodate 2-3 people at a time. The pouch on both arms has two compartments on each. It makes storing easy and always reachable. You can put anything in them, such as your valuable belongings and some of your camping necessities. The double-layer fabric makes it durable and comfortable. I do not feel any bending when I sit on this chair because the frame is very strong and sturdy. It is a great purchase.
