About Alamo Lake State Park

Alamo Lake State Park is one of Arizona's best secrets and well worth a visit. The lake is surrounded by a mountainous landscape and the water reflects the barren beauty of the desert.

The spring rain will delight nature lovers and stargazers can enjoy incredible views of the night sky, with the nearest city lights located about 40 miles away. The area around the lake attracts a variety of wildlife throughout the year, including birds, reptiles, amphibians, birds of prey and even some mammals. Alamo Lake State Park is located in the Bill Williams River Valley and offers great views of Arizona's beautiful desert landscape and beautiful lake.

In 1968, Lake Alamo, located about 30 miles north of San Antonio, Texas, was built after the completion of the Alamo Dam. The earth dam was built primarily by the Army Corps of Engineers for flood control. The lake basin has withstood the high water and the lake has risen by 11 metres in one night.

There are 12 power plants in the Ramada area, and the other plants have 30-50 amperes of electricity and water per site. Campgound B has 27 electricity places, the campsite in Cholla has 41 electricity places and 30 amps, CampGound A has 31 electricity places and 50 amps of water, with a minimum pitch height of 10 feet and a maximum pitch size of 30 feet.

All these places have picnic tables and fire rings, with a minimum pitch height of 10 feet and a maximum pitch size of 30 feet.

The park has no bathing beaches, therefore swimming is at your own risk, and the park does not behave like a beach, with a maximum depth of 10 feet and a minimum size of 30 feet.

All anglers under 14 years of age require a valid Arizona fishing license, and adults require a valid California fishing license. Lake Alamo has a maximum depth of 10 feet, with a minimum size of 30 feet and a maximum length of 20 feet.

License information is available online at Arizona Game and Fish, or you can purchase a fishing license from a local dealer. Ramadan groups can browse the A & E ward on Fridays and Saturdays from 8.30am to 12pm and Sundays from 12pm to 4pm.
